To begin, I applaud your desire to seek out a church home. I hope and pray that the Spirit will guide you to make Rivermont Presbyterian Church your church family. We believe God’s love runs deep and strive to imitate God’s love in word and deed. The more time you spend with us, you will discover Rivermont to be a place that strives to be “rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 3:17).

Wherever you are on your faith journey? Whatever your race, creed, immigration status, political leanings, sexual orientation or gender identity: you will be embraced just as Christ welcomes you!

Our church teaches our children the answer to the question “Who are you?” is “I am a child of God”. As children of God we also understand church to be our family.

Introductory Classes about Rivermont, and the Presbyterian (USA) denomination, are offered quarterly. Ask  about the next time either class is scheduled.

What to Expect

Our vision as a Children’s Ministry is to “create a safe space where children are encouraged to wonder, question, and grow in their faith by nurturing relationships with God, each other, their families, our church family, and the world.”

Our prayer is that the Rivermont Youth Program will be a space for community, learning, service, and fun! Youth (grades 6 through 12) will learn about who they are as God’s beloved children, form deep and supportive relationships with one another and the congregation, engage with God’s Word in Scripture, have space to ask questions, and explore their trust in Jesus Christ. All of this is done with the intent of equipping our youth to claim their own faith and to join in God’s work in the world. All are welcome here!
