Join Rivermont Readers for a series of lively book discussions

From a book introducing the original hard-boiled detective to the true story of grieving son’s pilgrimage through the cradle of Christianity, Rivermont Readers’ upcoming selections promise to start lively discussions of topics ranging from finding faith to the history of paper. 

Rivermont Readers meet on the third Saturday of every month from 7 to 8 pm, for the time being on Zoom. In January we read Kristin Hannah’s fictional WWII saga, The Nightingale. In February we tackled another piece of fiction, Marilynne Robinson’s Jack, the story of a couple grappling with 1950s attitudes toward interracial relationships. In March we’ll turn to nonfiction with Timothy Egan’s A Pilgrimage to Eternity.

Drop in to discuss a book you loved (or hated)! The church will send out a Zoom link before each meeting. Here’s the schedule for the next few months:
