Beverly Friedlander
Interim Parish Associate
Rev. Beverly Friedlander (she/her) comes to Rivermont from the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta where she has served as an interim ministry specialist and a hospice chaplain. In addition, she is currently on the Committee on Ministry. Her commitment to social righteousness led her to serve on the board of Presbyterians for a Better Georgia.
Before ordination, Beverly worked for Cox Cable Communications and in the film/tv industry. She lives in Atlanta with her wife, and enjoys regular visits with her family and friends, UGA football, Atlanta United, vegetable and flower gardening, and discussing/reading anything religion & politics, space or science. Her newest curiosities are about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, and the meaning of an incarnate God in a virtual world.
